Yup, had exactly the same thing with the Indian 'gentleman'. I couldn't understand him and kept asking him to repeat himself. When he heard my English accent he threw in the illegal immigration slant. We jumped through hoops to get our papers so I know we are good!!! He gave up in the end, but I feel sorry for people who are frightened by the call.

Just had this happen to me, They are full of crap

I'm talking to BS Officer Derrick Williams, He told me if I don't pay they will put my face in the paper

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Caller with Indian accent called 6 times  from Irs Tax audit department.  Claiming that if we did not call back  all he could do was wish us "good Luck"
