Caller ID identified this caller only as "New York". I didn't answer. An automated message was left stating "This is IRS" (not "This is the IRS" - bad English). It told me they were filing a law suit against me, and to call them immediately at 202-738-1919. It was also weird because of the way they said the number to call. They said "202738.1919" (202738 point 1919), like they were unfamiliar with American phone numbers.
Got a call from this number today. I'm in Ontario and just found out it's a NY number. I stopped answering this number. But within a half hour I get another long distance call with a 607 area code.
Got a call from 718-745-5293 this morning. They said they were from Microsoft technical support and they could see that my windows operating system was having technical problems. I said, "I do not have a windows operating system." They hung up... very funny.
