I have been getting threatening calls from this phone number also. They keep calling my work, so my bf called them and they were very rude to him, and even said [***] your gf. I don't know what to do about this. I never got a pay day loan that I didn't pay back in full. Can anybody help? Should I call the attorney general? The are code 718 is from Brooklyn NY
Left a message at work to call back. I called back and was told it was about a payday loan I had no clue about. The person had all of my personal information. He said his company would file charges against me if I did not pay 1842.00 with debit or credit card right then.
Been getting these calls, too. Got a call from 718-841-6477 from an Indian guy named floyd anderson twice within the last week. I've also been getting call from various Indians during the last 2 years and a few months with the same message. They all say the same thing and it's all scripted. I'm supposed to call them back (or my retained attorney) because I didn't pay back a payday loan. Had all my information. I think they get it from Teletrex. Of course, it's all a scam, because if it wasn't, the original company would have been in touch with me a long time ago, and that hasn't happened. So please be careful out there and don't even bother calling them back. Good luck.
