DO not answer or return this call.. They are from Madison's Who's Who and they are a scam company. They will tell you that you have been nominated to be a part of this organization, yet they can not tell you who nominated you. They tell you all these great things about their company and asks you questions about your educational background/business affiliations. They then ask you to pay a fee of $450 to join for four years. They tell you that they will send an invoice and all they need is the expiration date of your credit card. I gave them this information and they ask for my credit card number. I refused to give them this information and hung up. They call my house 4-5 times back to back. I looked on the internet and typed in Madison's Who's Who scam and found that it was a scam. When they called again, I answered the phone and informed them that I was not interested because I have discovered that it was a scam. His reply was "scam, huh??" And then he hung up. I haven't heard from him since.
Cancelled my membership in less than 24hrs. due to the above negative informational reports. Spoke to Andrew Jones, a financial representative, saying he would cancel the complete price of $59.00 effective immediately. They better take care of this & never call me or email me again!
Wow. I'm a Madison member. It's not a scam folks. In fact, I've gotten quite a bit of business. They HAND you their complete database. All you have to do is plug in a username and password and search their members in a variety of ways. If you don't want to work the list and be strategic, don't bother signing up. And when I called and spoke with Bill in the networking department, he worked with me and sent me a customized list of their members based on their physical locations and their executive titles. With my membership, I also got a vacation package -- 4 roundtrip tickets to various destinations. You can give them to anyone you want -- I'm donating a pair to my favorite charity. They're raffling them off, I get to look like a star, and I still get to use a pair for myself. Scam? I'm thinking some people just don't want to invest and don't want to work it. That's a shame. It's a great resource for me. And I've talked to the owner personally. I mean, I invested $289 for 2 years and I have more than 25 clients from their membership. Just work the list. It's an easy stream of income.
It is a rip off trust me. They charged my credit card continuously without my authorization. Last week they called me again and I told the guy right off that they had no right to charge my card and to please remove me from the call list. the guy told me in all his years of working there they had never charged anything without permission. I polity asked him to erase my card info and please stop calling me. He then said I'll be sending you the book and charging you the full price he then hung up on me. I called my credit card company right away to tell them what had happened and they said if they tried to place any charges to my card they would have to cancel the card. Sure enough 2 days later my card was canceled.. BEWARE of these guys unless you want throw you hard earned cash away.
