Wow. I'm a Madison member. It's not a scam folks. In fact, I've gotten quite a bit of business. They HAND you their complete database. All you have to do is plug in a username and password and search their members in a variety of ways. If you don't want to work the list and be strategic, don't bother signing up. And when I called and spoke with Bill in the networking department, he worked with me and sent me a customized list of their members based on their physical locations and their executive titles. With my membership, I also got a vacation package -- 4 roundtrip tickets to various destinations. You can give them to anyone you want -- I'm donating a pair to my favorite charity. They're raffling them off, I get to look like a star, and I still get to use a pair for myself. Scam? I'm thinking some people just don't want to invest and don't want to work it. That's a shame. It's a great resource for me. And I've talked to the owner personally. I mean, I invested $289 for 2 years and I have more than 25 clients from their membership. Just work the list. It's an easy stream of income.
i just got a call saying i have an interview on friday and after reading all this i'm not even wasting my time to go there and i'm in need of a job and that seems like a low blow after reading all these comments
They're trying to scam me now. I have no clue how they got my job number but they keep calling and it's quite annoying. It's pathetic that there are real people out there with real hopes and dreams that are preyed on by bull [***] like this. If a legitimate networking site existed that could really get your business out there like MWW is promising it would be wonderful because I need something like that for my business. But this is just sorry. They're just like the Nigerian sob stories scams and there is probably a real family in need but no one will ever believe it when the time comes due to nonsense like this. If you're on here and u say that MWW is legit, you're full of [***] and u probably are appart of it.
HANG UP IF THEY CALL AND BEFORE U DO TELL THEM U KNOW IT'S A SCAM. MY PHONE IS RINGING RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THEY WON'T STOP CALLING.
They Keep hasseling me & got 200 buck from me for a book which I still have not received. And on the 1st april 09 just got scamed for 20 bucks automatically.
I even complained to the NY authorities for Business Etiquettes, no use..

BEWARE! These are theives and frauds! They call from "restricted" numbers and steal money from people!!! I called to complain about unauthorized charges to my credit card, having never previously heard of "Madison Who's Who" (I am in Marquis Who's Who Among American Teachers.) They charged me 20% to reverse charges neither made nor authorized by me. I spoke to the same man over and over under the following names: "Jonathan Martin" "Financial Director" "Justin" in "Finance" "Sean Martin" "Director of Operations" and "Andrew Jones" "Managing Partner" (who said there was no one above him in the company.) It turns out that my card was used by a 15-year-old relative because they called and pushed her into acting immediately-and obviously a 15-year-old child does not have the experience to deal with a hard sell. They called to include her lawn mowing enterprise so that she could make money over the summer. Mr. Jones suggested that the 20% fee was my punishment for not knowing that the child used my card. (I was at work.) After several threatening and belligerent phone calls, I finally agreed to accept the reversal- although I provided verification from my bank proving that the charges were unauthorized and a statement of the fact. Because they said, "you'll take 80% or you'll get nothing", Mr. Jones was becoming increasingly rude and insulting, and my planning period was ending. I just looked up "Madison Who's Who" and the names that were given to me are NOT the names on the Contact page. Sean Martin's "position" is actually filled by a woman. On top of all that, the child with whom they initially entered into an agreement never received any of the benefits promised. They did not verify that she has a fictional BA from a fictional college ("The University of Arts"). They did not verify her identity. They did not verify her age. This company pushes children into entering into agreements with them, runs credit cards without verification and then charges the unsuspecting credit card owner a "fee" for reversing the charges. This information has been forwarded to the FCC and the FTC as well as the FBI unit for internet scams. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR MONEY, MADISON WHO's WHO IS A COMPANY FOUNDED ON FRAUD, LIES AND DISREPUTABLE, UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!
