Called and left a voicemail, asking for my address and place of employment as well as my employments phone number, not to mention the usual threats of this is the last attemp, blah blah.... First of all, any PROFESSIONAL place that is collecting money for another business will already have mailing and physical address. They'll also send out letters stating what is owed and for how much and to whom. I have been receiving these calls since the beginning of this year, after calling and letting them know that I contacted the Oregon Dept. of Justice and turned them in, the calls stopped for a few weeks. Now they're calling from a different number and state. I am not going to even bother calling the number back with threats to them. I've added the number to my block list. I will contact my state's dept of justice again though and report the new number though.
Called saying I had a complaint filed against me and would be delivered to my work place. Gave a number to call for any questions. Also called my wife earlier looking for me to try to scare me. Called my friend at police and he said this is a scam.
Same problem as everyone else is having but they are asking for my ex and we've been divorced for 17 years.
I tried calling back and someone picked up and just put me hold without saying anything. I really wanted to tell them off
because this is becoming a daily call while I'm at work.
