Scumbag scam supposed debt collector who violates many federal & state collection laws, especially time-barred debt (too old to legally collect). Bewarel!! Do not acknowledge! Hang up immediately. (Uses several other numbers too!)
So exactly what law are you referring to that specifies when debt is "too old to legally collect"? Because I know of no such law. I do know that there is a law called the statute of limitations which prevents them from suing you, but does nothing about telling them that they have to stop collecting, with the exception of Wisconsin and Mississippi where collection activity must also cease.

I have received several calls. Giving a reference number and threatening to contact my human resource representative. I have no idea what this is concerning.

Threatening unenforceable legal action is considered illegal & threatening. Firms that do so subject to fines etc.
