I'm getting multiple calls a day, there is no connection problem anywhere, and if there is, as several have mentioned, I will call them. This sounds way too much like a phishing attempt. I mean, come on, I have enough trouble getting Comcast to work on a problem when I do have one and have called them, am I to believe that they are paying people to call out to customers who *might* have a problem? Besides, last time Comcast was here, a few months ago, they rewired everything from the box at the curb in.
Kept receiving several calls from them so I did a live chat with Comcast, and was told everything was working properly, so I blocked the first number. Kept receiving calls from this number then, so I decided to call Comcast and talk to someone in person. Was told it is legitimate, and that it's an open work order to check my box. I am out of town though, and actually have unplugged the modem to save on electric, so they worked with me to make sure I don't receive anymore calls.
Bogus. Scammer. This not a legitimate Comcast representative.I spoke with Comcast and they told me many people have called and these people are scammers
