I received a call from this number minutes after I made a pymt for a storage shed rental. Thought is was suspicious so I called Woodforest direct. It was a legit call, verifying that I authorize the payment. It was a small amount compared to Walmart debits so maybe there is lots of fraud coming from the state this transaction generated from.
Woodforest credit/debit card fraud. They were verifying me that my card was being used in Ohio at a Holiday Inn and a grocery store ($160 something total!).....I usually do not answer unknown numbers, but was glad that I did.
Thank you all who reported that it was Woodforest CC fraud division. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know, so I googled it and the number showed up here. I was able to call them back and confirm some fraudulent charges.

ID themselves as Wood Forest Card Processing Center. Claim to be located in the "Corporate Office". in Texas. Sounds scammy to me. If there is any problem with any account you might have with any financial institution, always call the number indicated on your official communication your receive from the financial institution in the mail. If there is a problem with a card, always call the number on the back of the card.
