Called my business this afternoon and was SINGING creepily and would not respond to me saying "hello" or that I would report his number as harassment to the police. Identified as a male voice.
And the moron tried yet again, this time at 1311 hours. As before, I pick up the phone slightly and put it right back down again so the scam artist won't tie up our company phone.
For the heck of it, I blocked my call information and called it back. A recording told me my call was very important and to remain on the line for the next available agent. When a guy picked up, he did not identify any particular company and there were a lot of voices in the background all talking on the phone so this is obviously one of those boiler-room operations. When I asked why he called my company, he told me that the call was for (mumbled company name) and it was about capital lending. He continued on saying something about calling to speak to business owners but I cut him off saying, "What part of do not call do you not understand? You've called us repeatedly and we're not interested. We don't need a loan, we don't need your scam, so %#% off." It won't do any good because scam artists don't care that you don't want them to call but I felt a smidge of satisfaction.
