I too just received a call - which if I had had on my readers I would have seen the out of area number and not answered...I told "Max" that he was full of it because we have switched to an Ipad and I was going to report him. He said he would wait on the line. Ha. Hung up immediately. They have also been calling using 704 325 9112 as well as this number 917 200 9423
They just call me now about some stuff about my computer might have been hacked and I just simply nicely say, NO THANK YOU. Than she said go F... Yourself.. and hang up. The stupid people need to be STOP ASAP!!
These scammers must think we are stupid - - Their call will NEVER be answered by me. I only speak with people I wish to speak with and they certainly are NOT on my list. Give it up, losers.
got the same call today stating that she was from microsoft and i have a virus and she needs to get in my computer to fix the virus. i told her that i will put a antibotic in the computer and it will get better all by itself she said f u and hung up

I just got a call from the same guy. He was reading from a Script and I decided to play along for a few seconds. He told me he was from Microsoft Tech support and there was a virus on my computer that is a worldwide problem - and he was going to help me remove it. He wanted me to type in eventvwr in the run box and I told him I did. (Googled it instead) He asked me what showed up on my computer and I told him nothing. He then told me I'm computer illiterate. I told him he's an a--hole and started reading off all of the scam alerts on google to him. He denied and finally hung up.
