I called that number back and yhe scary thing is she had all me information lol. But! I know for a fact i never have used a payday loan!! She drooped 2 names that I knew and one was a co-worker. I would only use her as a job reference! Don't fall for this crap
These numbers are calling my sister. They told her that there was "fraud" on her bank account and Regions Bank. They told her that there was a bad check written and then called out my mother and I's names stating that we were witnessed to the scam when she started telling them that they were trying to scam her. IF that were true, no one would contact the "victim" and threaten them for payment or they could fight it out in court. She told them to go ahead and do it.
Just received the same type of call saying my name, phone #, and social is involved in a fraud case. It is important for me to contact them. They never mentioned my name throughout the whole message. I've received a lot of similar calls this past month, from different numbers and states. Nothing but scams. I'm gonna go back and block them all.
I just received this message about 20 min ago from same lady named above but she don't leave a company name only to say those same exact words that I may be involved in a fraud case involving my name, DOB or SSN and to call back immediately. I will not be returning this fraudulent call!!!!
So i've just gotten my second call within 4 days from someone named " Shirley Preston" claiming to be from the from the fraud diversion unit saying that my name, my telephone # and ssn, strongly advising i call back because its highly important and needing my attention. My name was never mentioned and consider the first call was from +1(614) 245-5938 on Thursday and the one from today was from +1(937) 249-0183. i really think this a scam because she dramatically pauses before saying her name.
