They called and hung up. When I returned the call, they asked if I was covered by an insurance company. I did not say "yes" or "no." They asked to confirm my address. I did not confirm. I repeatedly asked them how I might be of service. They would not tell me why they were calling.
If this number calls, they're trying to get a Nurse to visit me at my home to advise me on proper living for the purpose of coverage by Humana Health Insurance. Such visits can be invasive and a trespass on your privacy.
They want YOUR INFORMATION WHICH THEY GIVE TO OTHERS.. THAT IS NOT PARANOID THAT IS A FACT .. the kind of 'exam' you are talking about costs your insurance around 500 bucks.. if that is okay by you and you do not mind hwo has your personal information to give out . you are making yourself a target. Have you read the consumer rip off report.. if not you should . . you are now in someone's data base .. for keeps.
Do not do it .. your doctor should be in charge of your healthcare not some hired flunky from a giant corporate company who charges the insurance company a bundle for these visits.. its a scam and invasion of privacy . information handed to God only knows who.
Oh my God people stfu with this scam crap. It is Humana and I have humana. They try to set up at home screenings with physicians assistants and nurses to chek your health as part of their service. I can't believe how paranoid people are. If you do not have humana say so and tell them you are not interested. If you do have, this service is great if you are disabled or have a hard time going to a doctor. Otherwise if you don't know what you are talking about stop calling it a scam!!!!
