They called and hung up. When I returned the call, they asked if I was covered by an insurance company. I did not say "yes" or "no." They asked to confirm my address. I did not confirm. I repeatedly asked them how I might be of service. They would not tell me why they were calling.
This is a spoofed caller i.d. They are not with Humana in anyway, shape, or form. I answered the phone because I couldn't read my caller i.d. The man was very pushy. He said that it was a medical company who would send a nurse out to my home. Most medicare plans include this service with your insurance company. They do not farm this out to other companies. The man was extremely pushy, which also raised red flags. He demanded that I tell him why I wasn't interested. I called the Humana fraud hotline. I spoke to a very nice man and he kept me on the phone while he looked up the information. This number is not a part of Humana! It is a scam. This isn't the first time I have gotten calls reporting to be from an insurance company that turned out to be fraudulent. I immediately blocked the number. The number he called from is supposedly Matrix Medical.
Wants to come to my home for a Humana Health Review. I told them I did not let anyone in my home because I have read about letting these type people in your home and then abused.
