They called and hung up. When I returned the call, they asked if I was covered by an insurance company. I did not say "yes" or "no." They asked to confirm my address. I did not confirm. I repeatedly asked them how I might be of service. They would not tell me why they were calling.
Just wanted to clarify this. They are telemarketers that call on behalf of a couple medical insurances one if which your name and number is in that indurance companies database.They are calling to offer you a yearly check up at home that is part of your insurance. IT IS NOT A SCAM and from my personal experience the nurses and PA's that have come to my house have all the legal credentials they need as proof of who they are. So again, please stop coming here and clling it a scam when you don't have a clue to the truth!
I totally agree. I am very cautious with phone and internet solicitations and always check these things out first. I did so and then have had these check ups yearly for the last 3 years. It does not cost me anything extrs with my insurance and my premiums do not go up. The nurse comes in and dits down where you tell them and does not snoop. They do their job and leave. I can then take the file to my doctor to be added to my medical records. People are so paranoid but fil to do real research before making rediculous accusations and scaring others.
Notice how the insurance companies and your doctors office are driving you nuts with calls, visits, forms to fill out??? I am so sick of Obamacare. Leave us alone. Go live your perfect life and leave the rest of us alone.
I just received a call from the 937 prefix, did not answer, they left a message identifying themselves and telling me that humana has a free service that I might be interested in, please call this 888 # to discuss. I do not answer unknown numbers why can't the send a letter. Thank you all for posting.
this is actually humana ins visiting nurse program...they come by and discuss your health issues, treatments, and medications.....free to policy holders....i've used them several times..it is no scam...a helpful service if you need it....
