This number called the office I'm gatekeeper for but hung up mid-ring, as I was reaching for the handset. No actual idea what they wanted but if it's what the other posters reported, they're outta luck. We never give out that type of information. The CID only said Pompano BCH FL
Just received a call from Advise IT - foreign accent with poor English skills and background noise that sounded like a call center. When they asked, "Is this so-and-so?" (they had my name correct), i responded with "Speaking". (I didn't want to say "yes"). They wanted to verify the company's mailing address (which was correct), but I only responded by asking why they were calling. I said that it sounded like a phishing call and he said he didn't know what phishing was. When I asked again about why he was calling, he said he would be sending something in the mail and then I would know. I asked what he was going to send... and he hung up.
Just received a call from this number on my work landline. A woman with a thick accent identified herself as "Anna Smith from Advice IT", then asked if [my name] is still a [my position] at my number. Told her we don't do business with that company and not to call here again, then hung up on her. Their goal is likely to get a recording of specific responses ("yes" answers) they can use to bill your company for nonexistent services.
Same as others, new my name and title and wanted to verify address and business type. Said his name was Chris Anderson...............(don't think so). When I asked what is this for specifically he hung up
