The phone number 971-220-1761 calls repeatedly each day at 10:48 am and again in the afternoon everyday. It will ring 3 times and if not answered, the person on the other end of the line hangs up. The caller I.D says "DirectAccess." Once when I answered the call, a man with a heavy accent asked if the household computers version of Microsoft Word was working properly, because his company could access it directly and fix it. When I told him we never seeked out his company and to remove this number from the call list, I was hung up on. Do not give out any private information! Location of calls: Colorado.
They call me everyday several times a day and are not "selling" anything. However they are selling.
It is US Life Care and if you ask them several times to take me off their call list and they keep calling.
Ever since I registered with the DNC, the number of calls I have received from scammers and telemarkters has increased from an average of 1-2 a day to 8-10 per day. This is just one of the phone numbers that comes up. Never leaves a msg, of course. I just don't answer. What really gripes me is that I registered my home phone (DNC) and the calls increased 10-fold within the first week. Now I register the home phone and the same thing happens. I'm beginning to think the DNC is the major scammer...selling telephone numbers. Unscrupulous businesses pay well for that information
