My phone number is on the National Do Not Call Registry, but I keep getting calls from 971-220-1788 inspite of repeatedly telly them to take me off their call list. Today the called again. Their recorded message says they can lower your credit card interest rates, so I press 1 to talk to a live again. Some one came on the line. He had a thick foreign accent. I asked what bank he represented and he said "We represent all banks." Wrong answer. I told, again, that this number is on the National Do Not Call Registry and that I am filing a complaint. These people are probably frauds and cheats. I won't have anything to do with them.
Just got the same message call as above, they just want your credit card #s so they can quickly go to town. Coplain to FCC, your phone company (who probably make money from all these calls), and email your members of Congress. Eventually, they will destroy the US communication system!
