Was called 3 times in 15 minutes today by these people. I normally answer and mess with them, but today I chose to ignore them... so they just kept calling. Twice from 321-740-9999 and once from 971-220-1788.

"Will put on my call blocking. The DNC is next to useless."
I agree - added to the Digitone Call Blocking unit I bought. On some of these type calls, I even done more research and have given to the FCC so they can locate the people more easily. On these, more than two years later still getting calls. When I move in a couple of years, I'll be getting rid of the phone company and getting IP telephone with software.
We have VOIP (digital broadband service) here. It doesn't make Any difference as far as the Telemarketer calls are concerned. We've gotten over 125 different Telemarketer callers in just the last year alone! The DNC List, the same one that is SUPPOSED to protect us from this kind of harrassment, is actually being used by these bogus services to get new, valid, working phone #'s, ... where an actual person will answer, ... and actually talk to them. Ka-CHING!$$$ The DNC List is NOW no more than a ready-made working list of good #'s. The problem is the loop-holes. THEY need to be eliminated for this to work!
ONLY the government can make a difference, and they won't. SO, it's just like everything else. It's gonna be left up to us, the common citizens to figure it out for ourselves, our OWN way, just like we Always have to do. If we want something done right, we can't rely on our government to do it, WE have to do it ourselves. BOHICA (Bend Over, Here It Comes Again)!
Call logging and individual call blocking is the only way we have to fight these criminals. That can be done on EVERYones phone. We ALL just need to become more save than our enemy.
I wonder, ... what would happen if all of us forwarded all these unwanted calls to our Congressmen and Senators, and to the Supreme Court and the US Attorney General? Do ya think THAT might get our point across to the powers that are in charge of changing the law?
