Same here. Fake number, fake name. Didn't leave a message (thank goodness). I never answer these calls as trying to stop them by whatever method just doesn't seem to work.
The caller id just showed Rhododendron, OR, (located about an hour from Portland, OR). They hung up as soon as hte answeringmachine came on. Our nuumbe ris already on the do-not-call list!
Got a call from that number. Asked the name of the company and they hung up. Called the number back and it was what sounded like a regular guy who told me it was his cell phone and that he got another call from someone saying it was a scam c.c company too.
They call all the time. I finally pressed the button to get a person and told them to remove me from the list. They called again today and when I asked what company they represented they hung up on me. I reported them on the donotcall.gov website. I am sick of them!
