Same here. Fake number, fake name. Didn't leave a message (thank goodness). I never answer these calls as trying to stop them by whatever method just doesn't seem to work.
Got a call also from this number and DID NOT ANSWER. I monitor my phone and any unknown numbers/callers I let go to fax after the second ring. It has cut down the number of calls I've gotten! Try it....they, scammers, won't like it.
Cardmember Services at this number has automation dial my home number daily to solicit their credit card consolidation services. Unsolicited. My residence appears on TN Do Not Call Lists. I have filed a formal complaint with the national Better Business Bureau, and their agents are investigating. Wherever the source, San Diego or Portland, Oregon area, we badly need to get this sort of callous, intrusive and abusive telephone harrassment stopped NOW.
Our number is on a "do-not call" list and we still keep getting calls from this number (cardmember services). We do not know who they are and have resorted to monitoring our phone calls in order to avoid the aggrivation.
Caller ID displayed 'Rhododendron OR'. I did not answer and no message was left. The best thing to do is just don't answer. I even have my ringers turned off when I'm watching TV because the incoming number, if there is one, is displayed on the TV screen for a couple of seconds - I can then decide to answer . . or not.
I am on the National DO NOT CALL list but keep getting calls from this number re: Credit Card Services. When I press 1 to speak to a rep and tell them to take my name of the list, I get responses like "F*** you" and "Too bad".
