CID says "FINANCIAL CTR' Be warned, this isn't the only number they call from; OTHERS ARE-360-474-3983/ 360-474-3977/ COULD BE OTHERS-I have blocked these three.
This is the latest in a series of calls where a recorded voice says that they can lower your interest rate on all your calls. I believe this to be a scam called Phishing (attempting to acquire information such as credit card details). Caller-ID shows FINANCIAL CTR, 971-373-2982.
The solicitation has an automated message saying "This is the last time we're calling. We've repeatedly sent you messages about consolidating your bills. The criteria is to have at least $3K in debt. Press one to speak to an operator."
When the operator comes on, I ask them to take me off their solicitation list and they hang up on me.
This has happened at least 3 times now.
These scumbags called my number 5 mins ago. I did not answer the calls with #s I didn't recognize. I set the phone to forward the calls from these scumbags from now on to the local Police.
