Tried to get Credit Card info from to "lower my rates" I told him That I was on the "do not call list" and asked him to remove my name from his list. He responded that he would not and called me a "smart [***]". This is NOT the first time I've received this type of call from "Pacific Tel"
Yes! At this point, I HATE advertising and marketing.
We live in an age, where it's useless to consumers. We have TV, radio and the Internet to find things that might interest us. Why not just have a central location where we can seek out adverts if we're actually shopping for something!?!?
There's absolutely no reason to have anything shoved in our faces, every second of every day. We can't even drive on the road with out giant TV/billboards blasting our eyes with BS.
I don't understand how that's ok when reasonable people know that even talking on the phone while driving is a distraction. The whole damn point of those billboards is to catch your attention when your attention should be on the road. There's no escaping the marketing monster. I'd love to find a way to kill it.
