Looks like, yet, another example of discouraging a valid complaint.
Punish the victim.

Caller ID states "Pacifictel" No message left, a hangup call.

Got another call from them this morning at 9:20. Husband didn't see the caller ID first so he answered it. Another one of those "this is your last chance to reduce the interest rate on your credit card account..." which is a bunch of bull. We don't talk to them and we don't push any numbers. We've given up reporting them because nothing is done about it.

I went through my caller ID today to get rid of old numbers, and I'll bet there were at least 20 of them just in the past week.

This one calls me all the time. I called it back and used their menu selection to opt out, many times. I am thinking about suing them.

had a call from 971-373-2989 PACIFICTEL  with no message left on the answering machine. I pay for my Telephone Line for MY convenience, not Yours,   because of that fact, PACIFICTEL Your number ha been added to my list of blocked numbers. Write me if you have anything to Say.
