These people are phishing for live numbers and have no regard if you are on Do not call lists. the only way to get them to stop is to add them to your phone or cell block list.
Just look at the first post for THIS particular number. They change numbers like the weather changes. Since they can put any number they feel like into their CID...
Here's a hint... You will never get them to stop calling by entering a number, asking, arguing, threatening, pleading, or praying. They are mass marketing scum and have had dear, sweet "Rachael" and a host of others "making" these calls for years. The government and/or FCC, as usual, is worthless... They could put a halt to it in a day if they wanted to... So here's a suggestion:
Keep a small "can" powered airhorn next to the phone (or a really shrill whistle)... When the inevitable call comes, press "1" to speak to the "representative"... engage them politely for a few seconds, and then let them have it !!! ...My calls have gone down drastically. Believe me, they are NOT happy campers and their vulgar responses indicate just what kind of people they really are.
I get calls from more than one phone number for card holder sevices....wanting to lower the interest on my cards.....I DIDN'T SOLICIT THEM!!!!!! this is one of those numbers......second....I do not own credit cardS that need help... I don't need their help....
Why is our Federal Government so Lame? Why do they go to the expense of forming a National Do Not Call Registry when they take no action against these Jerks. The Jerks keep calling because they know there is nothing that will ever happen to them!
