Another round of calls sta ting they had to remove a virus from my computer. Same bogus call that an ederly relative told me he received about a month ago. Fortunately, he always calls me about computer issues and doesn't trust anyone else to work on his PC. SCAM!!! Blocking this number.
Called landline again. Left no message. CID displayed New Jersey. We NEVER answer ANY unsolicited call. Too many thieves, crooks and CRIMINALS looking to victimize whoever answers the phone.
The caller (Indian or Pakistani) actually said he was from the Windows Tech Team, I said "No you are not and stop it." Cannot see how people actually get taken in by this crap, but unfortunately they do.
Something about a virus on my desktop computer. Thick accent pakistani. Could not understand her very well. I played long for a bit and then I kept quiet. Lol. The lady kept saying hello hello hello with a short pause between. She must have said hello about 20 times. Tried calling back and itsp an invalid number. Tried to block but was unable to because again, it's an invalid number. Scam big time!
