I just got the same call 12;30 in the afternoon. It's really annoying. Especially when you have to reset your answering machine...That's why I do not give my number out but these people probably dial every number in the book!!
Being called by this number 3 times in 3 days (around the same time of the day too). I didn't pick up at all, wondering if the New York Times sold my number as it's recently after I subscribed to them :/
I was called by "Florida Times-Union" and was offered a special subscription package. A few hours later I was called and they have been calling every day to every other day since. They keep trying to get me to pay for my subscription over the phone. I'm really glad that I never did. They were trying to give me a free $10 Gate(gas station) Card for paying over the phone. I REALLY hope that no one falls for this and actually gives their CC info. away.
