I just received a call from this number. I called US Bank and she told me that the number is a valid US Bank number and it is from their telemarketing dept. I asked her to have them take me off the list and she said she would do it. The number I called is 800-872-2657. Follow the promps for suspicious activity. This is the main number for US Bank.
I then banned 201-215-1712 on my nifty little call blocker I bought on Ebay. That thing works great!!!!
I keep getting repeated calls from this number! I don't live anywhere near a 201 area code and they never leave a message. I have never actually answered.
Just got got another call from US Bank. This time they were offering a pre-approved Visa card with zero interest for 15 billing periods for new purchases or balance transfers, and no annual fee. Sounds great, except that 1) I don't need another credit card, 2) zero interest does nothing for me because I don't incur interest charges, 3) it doesn't provide a 2% cash reabate on all purchases like the card I use now.
