You should never give anyone your information. This company made a 87.00 charge to my credit card....I believe I made a purchase to one of those ACAI or Colon Cleanser website. To make the story short, I contact my bank and had to cancel my credit/debit card. Becarefull people calls from 201-215-2434 are a fraud and trying to get your credit card information.
Same exact situation happened to me. Closed out my back account and opened a new one. My bank investigated and found this to be a fraudulent charge and reinbursed me the entire amount. Don't ever order from pop-ups. Mistake well learned.
Called the number back, asked who they were and they wouldn't tell me. The woman actually said: "I'm not allowed to go into that." I said, you have my name, number, and credit card information, you have been calling me for weeks, but you can't tell me your company name?" She kept trying to hurry me off the phone. I told her I was reporting this number to the BB and anyone else I can find because I know they doing something fraudulent.
I kept getting calls from the # and had similar happenings. I ran the # through and it isnt listed to anyone just Bayonne, NJ 07002 and the privder is Paetac Communications-NJ. I called the # and, after holding, a woman answered. I told her of the calls and she took my # and offered to remove it from their call list. She then told me that it would take up to 24 hrs. to update.
I got a call on 12th and again today. Got no response to my repeated "hello".
Ii almost got conned into the Acai - Colon cleanse scam about a month or so ago. Read the small print and bailed out. Believe it or not I live in Amherst. I suspect that neither the weight loss "woman" nor the "teeth brightener" young man, both allegedly from Amherst actually exist. If they do, they are obviously part of a scam of "free gifts" that keep on taking
