OMG....i remember it was a couple of years ago ...i ordered some dang acai berry and colon cleanse but i cancelled the order due to the fact it was going to charge the card each month without permission even if i didnt want to order anymore ...i just wanted to try it..not get it debt with it....im going to call that number today to get removed from the list...but i promise this...if i see any recent charges....ima let you guys know..b/c im p****ed right know
Just got a call from 201-215-2434 they told me I win something for using my VISA and they had the last four number of it. It's a scam I ordered a free sample from Pliatrol sever months ago it was the start of the scam.
They billed my account for a couple of months for items I never ordered or received. Only got some of my money back
Phone rang at 4:40 pm on Feb. 3, 2010 with no one on the other end. I waited and heard someone carrying on a conversation, but it was obvious it was not with me and they could not hear me. I hung up and looked up the number with Google reverse lookup. It is some on line distributer that sells "health" items. As I am on the Do Not Call National registry I have no idea why they are calling me. I have called and asked to be removed from their call list but the lady hung up before I could provide the phone number to be removed.
Funny they say they are calling prefer Mastercard customers, and then are you the Mastercard holder for the account ending in #----. To make you think that your credit card company has given them your number. But when I said "Not Interested" he politely said "Thank you" and ended the call.
This is definitely a scam from the Acai Berry pop up ad that I bought into and only got a portion of the product for several times the price originally stated - this was drawn from my checking account. I wish someone could catch this scam and apply the appropriate penalty!
Caller claimed to be from Visa and wanted to offer me some kind of reward due to my "spending habits". They knew the last 4 digits of an old card which is no longer in use....and they also know my cell# which disturbs me.
If anyone knows an agency to report this to, please respond to this site.
