Had a call on my cell as of 7/22/08 at 8:35pm MST. It was a recording about auto warranty. I pressed 2 to be taken off the list. My cell phone number that they called is a new number with a new carrier and plan (Sprint). Only close family and friends have the number which is in total of maybe 10 people since it is a brand new number. These scammers are getting the info from somewhere or someone. Caller ID did not list a company name but did indicate the call was coming from New Jersey.
I got a call from this number on my cell phone tonight. I was in a meeting and didn't answer. I looked up the number online to see if I could figure out where it was coming from. I have T-Mobile. I'd like to know how these folks got my number.
