I got the same call and acted as though i was interested. When I told them I had a 2007 Mercedes (haha I dont really), she said they couldnt sell me a warranty on it and told me they would remove me from the list. I haven't had a call from them in 2 days...hopefully that worked!
Ok, I just got a call from this number this morning. About 10:40AM EST. This is not the first time. I just recently open my own business and I have my phones through Vonage. As soon as I set up my vonage account I started getting calls from this number. Well, I didn't have my voice mail set up yet so I never got a message the first few times. After voice mail was setup the were not leaving messages. I never called back since I didn't care who it was, I didn't know the number, and they needed to speak to me they could have left a message. That was about 4 weeks ago.
I just added a second line to my Vonage phones, for a dedicated fax, and again with the number calling. I don't know where they are getting their numbers from since my business works off of referrals only so I don't have it advertised anywhere and is not even listed with the white or yellow pages.
Both of my numbers are listed with the state, that's the only place that even has my fax. I haven't given that out to anyone yet, I've only had it a week.
Oh, and never got one of these calls on my Cell phone, I do have AT&T but my number has been on the national Do Not Call list for a few years. If you all are not on it, I recommend you look it up and fill it out. I am going to register my work numbers there soon as I finish this post.
