i called 1-800-654-1862 which answered "dial america". she asked me if i was responding to the phone call from Mothers Against Drunk Driving. i said yea but there was no one on the line. she told me it was an automatic dialing system. the number it came from was 201-257-4099/MADD. she then asked me if i would like to help them out by buying a magazine subscription. i told her no i'd like the calls to stop. she was very pleasant & helpful. i told her i was unsure what phone number they had because i have my cell calls fwd to my home. she then said she would take both my numbers out of their system. but that i may receive one or two more automatic calls until it goes through.
I dialed the 1800 number that your put in. Thank you so much for your help. They answered Dial America. I said about getting this call from 2012574099 at least a dozen times. It has come through like a fax sound on my answering machine 3x. Hangups next, and finally tonight someone saying "hello? Hello? HELLO?" before I could even answer click. Rude completely. The person I called to said that was their outbound call ctr. I'm less then impressed. I told him to take my number out of the data base and put on do not call list. He said we may still get a few calls. I said it shouldn't take any longer than 20 days to succeed. I won't be nice if I have to call back again after April 30.
