I also have had this similar call with no answer and thought it was because I was the male of the house, but they also did the same to my wife. The caller ID had a person's name but I don't know if the last name was all there as my caller ID may have cut some off, but my caller ID did have NJ on the end.. i.e. could be Park, Parr..??

It IS indeed an organization called "Call America". They telemarket for other organizations...one of the is Mother's Against Drunk Drivers, calling for a donation. They are exempt from the Do Not Call law because they are a charity organization. What a load of crap that is. So this means that any organization can call us and ask for money, even if we are on the do not call registry. What the heck good is the law if they make companies exempt? You can call their 800 number to be removed. Thanks to poster BlueB for that number: 1-800-654-1862.
Thank you Michelle for your research. I believe you are correct in your findings. MADD is a good organization, but I too am eerrkked by the endless calling.
