My mother in law received the same call from the same number... only thing is that she gave them her cc info... I'm calling the bank to cancel it right now! When I called the number back the woman hanged up on me and turned her phone off... BEWARE it clearly is a SCAM!
I received a call today was informed that they were going to send me to court on a membership that I did not pay, asked for $485.00 so they can cancel and not take me to court. SCAM
I just received a call from this number (201-258-7078) and a lady who claimed to be "patty wun" (obviously a fake name), informed me that her company, which she refused to tell me what the name was, is going to take me to court over a "membership" that i did not pay for more than one year and that i owed $3,000 for it. She continued saying that i could pay $300 right there and continue being a member without any issue. Please Don't fall for this!! It is a scam!!! I asked for the companies number in which I was a "member" of and gave me some number from Houston,Texas. I realized that the area code from which she called from was from New Jersey. NO companies popped up with such numbers! It is a SCAM. Hang up the phone immediately.
