I have received the call 2 x so far this morning. The first time it dis-
connected before I could answer it. The second time I answered it, and no one was there, then it disconneted. I have the no soliciting calls on
my cell phone, so I don't know what is going on. The call was coming over
my cell phone.
I have gotten a call from this number at least once a day for a few weeks. I also have gotten calles from 201-621-5850 I think it is from the same. My daughter answered it tonight and they asked for me specifically and she said she wasn't me. And they asked if she owned the phone and how she was related to me. She of course didn't give them any info...
I have received three calls to my cell phone (my only phone) from 2012660022 and two from another New Jersey number 2016215850 in the last two days, alternating. I expect that one of the lists that I or the previous person with this number had put the number on by signing up for or ordering something was sold. Very annoying, but at least I can check the number on my phone and not answer. Does anyone know if cell phones can be added to the Do Not Call registry?
OK, It's 1 pm & they've called me 4 times already this morning. The reason they don't answer is this: they have these calling machines that call several phone numbers at the same time. The first one that picks up is the one they talk to. So if you pick up #4 you get nothing but dead air. My friend (sorry, I hate his job, but he's still my friend) is a telemarketer & he told me this. Said he sits at his desk & his phone will beep so he knows some poor victim has picked up their phone.
