They called me 10 or more times. I was rarely home and they did not leave any message. Finally I naswered and some guy asked me about student loans. He would not say the company name he was representing so I hung up. I just registered with the do not call list. Hopefully it will help.
HA ha at last.....The name of the company is Scholastic Funding Group...Their phone number is 1-866-362-5659...if you call them they pretend to be real sympathetic and apologetic for disturbing you. They blame it on a glitch in their calling system (BS!.....the great part is that they are renting all of our personal information from kaplan or a similar test prep agency.
You are getting these phone calls by a company named Scholastic Funding Group because you are registered with Kaplan. When you talk to the Philipino people just tell them you have loans and then they will route you to an operator in the U.S. Get the operator's first + last name if you can. Be SURE to tell her you have reported them to the F.B.I. and the Federal Trade COmmission (because we have) and let them know there is currently an investigation being conducted regarding identity fraud involving them. Advise them not to call you or anyone ever again. Then tell the phone call is being recorded
