They called me 10 or more times. I was rarely home and they did not leave any message. Finally I naswered and some guy asked me about student loans. He would not say the company name he was representing so I hung up. I just registered with the do not call list. Hopefully it will help.
I received three missed calls at 11:54 am, 12:14 pm, and 12:32 pm today (2/8) from this phone number... I was in class at the time, so I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message. I am also applying to law school--perhaps the LSAC is at fault? I rarely give out my cell phone number, but I did give it to the LSAC when I created my online account.
