They called me again for the 3rd time this week. I told them I was not interested in consolidating. However, this time I was able to catch their ??Company Name supposedly Scholastic Funding.
I'm in grad school and they have called me 7 times in the last two days. I have missed all their calls except for one I answered and there was just silence. So annoying.
They call with similar patterns as described by users below. For me it is a cell phone they are calling. If anyone knows the plausability of filing legal action against the number's owner I am willing to participate against them. I imagine they are in violation of some criminal statutes since they call about loans many of us don't have which suggests they are really fishing for personal information - on this scale it will be a very serious charge.
I'll check the log later and see if anyone is on board.
this number has been calling me non-stop, almost hourly, for over a week now. I couldn't even count the calls. They do not leave a message. and on weekends, and at ridiculous hours. I haven't answered because I do not feel compelled to answer a caller who is this rude and fails to leave messages to identify themselves.

For approximately the last 5 months, they have been calling 3-5 times per week, and they all hang up. And, of course, none of the numbers ever pick up.
My suggestion is to register yourself on the do not call list. It takes 31 days to become effective, but the next time you get someone actually SPEAK to you from this number, you can tell them that you are on the DNC List. Also, tell them that you have their number, as well as the other two numbers above, on record, and that if you get another call from them, you will file a complaint with the FCC...then follow through.
