Received a call from this number today. It is coming from an area in Oradell, New Jersey. Called the Bergen County Police Department for Oradell, NJ at 201-261-0200. They are aware of these calls going out, but are unable to trace the calls without a court order. Maybe if enough people call the Bergen Police they will GET a court order. Spoke with a SGT. Smith and he said to hang up, and not respond with pressing any numbers
how many phone numbers do these guys have. Well anyways they are a scammer trying to get money for the police department. They don't raise money this way. Considering changing my number as it is seams to have made all the scammer phone call lists.
Unwanted unsolicited recording about credit card interest. I have got them from the same company using different numbers and I filed a complaint with the F.C.C.
also try US Justice Dept. FTC, local cops, FBI -- maybe bug the phone carrier and attorney general of whatever state they're calling from. News and web media complaint/consumer-help...and credit card company if they're pretending to be one.
