Just got a call from them saying they are IRS. My dad works for the government, I know a fraud when I hear one. Man was heavily accented Indian man--let's be real if you ask a person for their name to open a case without even identifying who the [***] you are most likely you're an [***] trying to scam people. Don't fall for it.
I returned the call and there is multiple people answering phones. All answered My IRS. The person I kept getting stated he was an Office of the IRS. He repeatedly hung up on me and then stopped taking my calls. The recording stated I was under federal investigation. Who Do I REPORT THIS TOO? This is ridiculous.
I too received a call from Robo and she left a message stating the same. Did any of you, the previous, by chance not pay their ACA penalty? Which is totally unenforceable by the way.
