Scammers don't care about the DNC. Only law-abiding telemarketers respect it. You might want to invest in a call blocker or at the very least, don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize and don't call numbers back "just to find out who called." If they don't leave a message, they aren't worth your time.
Said they were from "Pharmacy services" and would give me a free refill of my topical pain medication. I said I don't use that--she said
their records indicated I suffered from "generalized aches and pains". I said I didn't and asked if this was a telemarketing call. She hung up. I think this is a scam.
I also keep getting this call from Pharmacy Services telling me they had a special cream for pain that would help me. I tell them to stop calling but they persist.
They got an answer in the past so they'll continue calling. Want them stopped, don't answer unknown numbers in any way and be patient. Quite a generic name, but without their phony offer, what's the reason to call?
