Got a call from this number and finally decided to answer it, even though I am in Canada and I knew the number is in the US. They had a recorded voice first about lowering my credit cards and when I pressed one to speak to a rep, they immediately asked for my credit card number from either Visa or Mastercard. I quickly informed "Kent" that this number is on a DNC list and I would be reporting it and they hung up. If it walks like a duck.....
Ditto, likewise and the same for me. I'm on the Canadian DNC list yet I still get these scam calls. I didn't answer but they left the usual credit card message, saying it was "urgent" that I all them. This should be illegal - it's not "urgent" at all that I call them; I pay off my CC balance every month and, therefore have no interest to pay. Ba$tards! Luckily, I have digital phone service and it allows me to block numbers. The next time these scamming ba$stards call, it'll appear to ring endlessly to them so they can just pi$$ off and not bother me again. Losers!
Caller ID shows phone number and Caller ID as "New Jersey" - A recorded message follows selling lower credit card interest rates - I pressed 9 and asked them why I needed lower interest rates when I clear my card balances in time every month - Scolded them for making an unsolicited call - Then that guy simply hung up. The Canadian Do-Not-Call Registry is totally a waste of taxpayer money!
