The standard "urgent message" about lowering your credit card rates. I planned to ask to be removed from their list and to complain about them so I pressed through to the operator and asked to confirm that the name of the company was "card member services." They just hung up with no answer.
We need an international US-Canada agreement on DNC prosecution and of course Canada needs a less stupid DNC list format.
I pressed 9 to take the call, then yelled at the top of my voice "Don't Call this number again". That person on the other side must have got an earful. Good for him. Let him quit this job due to ear injury. (I've had enough of such nuisance calls - the Canadian Do Not Call list is a joke)

I pressed nine and when they asked if I was responding to the Visa/Mastercard message, I said
"Yes, who are you?
You have just called the office of the Government of Canada."
They hung up on me!
I was looking forward to some fun because MY caller ID on this line IS the Government of Canada!!
NO CALL LISTS ONLY WORK FOR COMPANIES THAT KNOW HOW TO READ!
