Judging from other posts, this is a call center. My caller ID showed only the number in both the 'name' and 'number' fields. The problem with these centers is that they are located outside the country, making it difficult to take action against them. The best thing to do is either ignore them or block them if you can. If you are bored, you could try playing a little song for them with the keys on your phone!
Same thing as most of the posts, when I tried to call the number back it said that this number was no longer in service and not available from my calling area and at the end it said NWR RDD I don't know if this will help anyone, but it helped me figure out something was fishy..........:)
I am in Nova Scotia and they called me as well with the credit card recorded message. I pressed 8 to be placed on their internal do not call list. Whether or not that will do anything remains to be seen.
