Who called from 2014149681

I received a call from a girl with foreign accent trying to sell me auto protection for my cars. I told her not to call a again.

got a call from 201-414-9681 and when my machine answered, they hung up. I never answer a call that I do not recognize

caller ID  unknown name
female caller with difficult to understand foreign accent,  said what sounded like  "Liberty Auto"  plus another word?  Had both our names and what vehicle we own.  Then she wanted to know if we still owned the vehicle.  Told her "that's none of your business"  then she said " we just need to update your personal information...."    I hung up:     haven't ever done business with this outfit before (sure am tired of GM selling my info to these scammers)  have blocked #

I think state BMV's either sell info or get hacked. That is how they know who has what vehicles registered.
