These indeed are bottom feeders. This company has been fined many times and uses unethical methods to collect old debts. Bullying people for old medical debts is in no way OK or ethical. For you to come on a site like this shows how far no skilled people who do these jobs are willing to go to harass people who are usually not paying medical bills due to obvious medical reasons will go. Only problem is they call from various numbers around the US so you can't ID their number to report, and they do call over and over and over and over....
Oh, and if you do work a deal with them, send them nothing until you have it in writing signed by an officer of the company. You also need to have them send to you proof that the outstanding debt is yours. Something with your signature on it. The original finance agreement would be perfect. Chances are they will not be able to do this because they rarely have that. The offer must state that this settlement will satisy the debt in full and no further collection attempts will occur. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE YOU TO ALLOW THEM ELECTRONIC ACCESS TO YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT, EVEN WITH AN AGREEMENT. You will send them a cashier's check or money order and then you need to keep all copies of agreement and check forever. And again, if they don't like what you are saying, let them eat dial tone. They are in a volume business, so they will eventually settle for something rather than nothing.

I would strongly recommend, just ignore them and don't spoil your day by there rudeness, crude behavior, if you do not owe any money. I just can not understand, why these companies are not recovering billions of dollars stole from poor investors, pension holders etc ! ! We should raise voice for the recovery of those money from them and their families.
I get constant calls from a rude little [***] named Michael Carp. He looks for some girl and I try to tell him that he is wasting his phone time calling me because I am clearly a man and do not owe him any money. Yet, he hangs up calls back again and gets even more irate when I remind him that he hung up on my previously when I told him he had the wrong number...
It is enough for me to pop my head into the Constar Arizona office on my next business trip out there, find him and beat an apology out of him.
