This idiot called again today and this time used the name Lee and said he was from the Microsoft Technical Department. I answered with Police Department since I recognized this number. Its only called me over 20 times now. Anyway, he tried to,say he was from the Microsoft Technical Department and I stopped him immediately and said this was the police and we'd already traced the call to India and he hung up. [***].....
These people call every day. Caller ID shows up as "New Jersey." Told them I didn't have a computer and they hung up. Called again repeatedly. I answered again tonight and when he asked what kind of computer I had I told him it was a Texas Instruments. He asked if I had a Windows OS (even though he told me he was from Windows and we were getting a lot of Error Messages). I asked him if he was from Iowa or something because he talked different than us. (Indian Accent). He told me to look on my keyboard and find the ctrl button. I told him I saw the +, -, and the goesinto buttons.
He groaned. I asked him very innocently why he was mad at me. He hung up. lol
This number is calling my cell several times a day. I pick it up and don't say anything, since I suspected from the beginning that it was an "auto" sales call and if you don't speak you don't activate the sales recording. No one ever spoke, so I thought it was a spam. No voice message has been left. I called back yesterday and it was disconnected. But it isn't really since they called again today. I want to block it but I have a new cell phone (android) and can't figure out how. However, this is definitely a SPAM call, and it should be blocked if anyone is getting calls from it. (201) 501-1683, apparently a New Jersey number.
