I got two calls from 201-643-7685, one on December 26, 2015 and the second on December 27, 2015. The caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on. My caller ID said, "Freewheel Media," whatever that means. Don't legitimate businesses use their real name for their caller ID? I would think so.
While volunteering at a local senior center, I heard a lot about how scam/spam/phishing phone calls are aimed at senior citizens. Please advise any senior citizens among your family or friends about these kinds of predators. It is simple enough for them to guard themselves: Check the Caller ID, and if they don't see a name and or number they do not recognize, they should not pick up the call. Simple.
Call came in from Freewheel Media, 201-643-7685, @ 7:22 P.M. on Friday, 02/05/16. They left no message and I'm not calling back. I feel it's probably another scam. If someone were to ask personal questions at to age, education, work, income, family size --- hang up!!! It's info that is not their business - they're looking for info to your life.
