Last month on my PSG&E bill there is a note warning of the numerous scams these people are trying to pull.
Never give out any info about you or your household. Hang up and call your real carrier right away.

lady called rattled off some name then clearly said PSE&G. My caller ID just showed #. I'm at work so if the person is not making an appointment I immediately say take me off your list. She says but you already participate. I said take me off your list. She said there is no list. So I said then just stop calling me. She got very frustrated (bonus for me) and hung up.
Our conversation went like this
Reginald: can I speak Tony
Me: no one here by that name
Reginald: Then I need to speak with the owner
Me: he's not in may I help you with something
Reginald: Give me an alternative # cuz apparently I reach him there and he's never there
Me: I will not give you his # may I take a message
Reginald: Is there anyone else below him that can make decisions
Me: No may I take a message, after a little annoyance from him he gave me the # 800-2109011 xt 6349 ask to speak to Reginald it's very important I get these calls often they always speak like its a dier emergency... they are annoying and rude... do not give them any information.
